Creative Ways to Style the Country Garden Collection in Every Room This Summer

There’s something deeply satisfying about a home where every room—from the kitchen to the bathroom—feels like it belongs together. That’s exactly why I designed the Country Garden Collection, with coordinating pieces that blend beautifully from space to space. Featuring hand-sewn velvety pillows, watercolor-detailed canisters, and thoughtful touches like coasters and trivets, absorbent tea towels and glass cutting boards, this collection is all about creating a charming, welcoming home with a nod to summer gardens.

Here are some of my favorite ways to style and use these pieces throughout your home!

In the Kitchen: Beauty Meets Everyday Function

Let’s start where we spend so much of our time—the kitchen. I love having beautiful things that also work hard for me. Our glass cutting board is one of those do-it-all pieces. It’s perfect as a prep surface for baking, a fresh from the oven loaf of bread or a heat-safe spot for fresh-from-the-oven casseroles.

The canisters are a kitchen essential. I use mine for:

  • Salt
  • Coffee beans and tea
  • Flour, sugar, baking soda & baking powder

They keep your counters tidy and your baking supplies right where you need them, all while adding a soft, garden-inspired touch to your kitchen decor.

Let’s talk about the trivets & pot holders—those unsung heroes of the kitchen that we often overlook! In the Country Garden Collection, these beautiful pieces aren’t just eye-catching—they’re essential.

I keep the larger trivets near my stove and oven for:

  • Hot pots straight from the stovetop
  • Casserole dishes fresh from the oven
  • Piping-hot soup pots or baking trays that need a soft landing

They protect my counters and tabletops beautifully, and the watercolour artwork adds a charming, handcrafted feel to even the most practical spots.

And the small round trivet? I use it every single day as a spoon rest. Whether I’m stirring homemade soup or making jam, it keeps my counters tidy and makes cleanup so much easier—plus, it looks adorable, and matches my canisters and tea towels.

These little touches make your kitchen feel put together and peaceful, like a quiet morning in the garden.

Tea Towels: Pretty, Practical, and Full of Charm

A soft, absorbent tea towel is one of those everyday things that feels extra special when it’s beautiful. I’ve designed the Country Garden Collection towels with watercolor florals in soft blues and greens so they’re not just useful—they’re decorative too.

Here are just a few of the ways I love to use mine:

  • Lining a Bread Basket
Whether you’re serving warm dinner rolls or a fresh loaf of homemade banana bread, a tea towel draped in the basket keeps things cozy and charming. It’s a simple touch that instantly makes your table feel more thoughtful.
  • Draped Over a KitchenAid Mixer Bowl
A tea towel gently folded over your mixing bowl adds a soft, styled look to your countertop when you’re not baking. It turns your appliance into a vignette—especially when paired with one of our matching canisters.
  • Over the Oven Handle Or a Towel Bar at the end of a Cupboard
My favorite place to hang a tea towel is right on the towel bar at the end of my cupboards—it adds a soft pop of color and a touch of charm to the kitchen when hung with cutting boards and a basket of flowers. Another great place is draping one over the oven handle for an easy way to bring in seasonal beauty and tie the whole space together.

Whether you’re food prepping or entertaining, these ultra-absorbent, soft, towels bring a charming feel to every corner of your kitchen. They’re small—but they make a big impact. It’s one of those simple luxuries that makes daily tasks feel special.

Aprons: Prepping your Food and Serving Your Guests

There’s something timeless and comforting about slipping on a beautiful apron before you begin preparing a meal. It signals that it’s time to slow down, serve with love, and create something wonderful.

The Country Garden apron was designed for just that. With its soft watercolor florals in blue and green, it’s not only functional—it’s pretty enough to wear when your guests arrive.

In the Kitchen

This apron is my daily go-to for:

  • Chopping vegetables for summer salads
  • Rolling out pie dough or baking homemade bread
  • Food prepping for the week ahead

The fabric is soft yet durable, and it washes beautifully after a full day in the kitchen. I love how it ties comfortably at the waist and keeps my outfits looking fresh, even when food is flying! 🙂

When Entertaining

I do switch to a cleaner more “presentable” apron for guests, they don’t need to see how messy I get. Then I look—graceful, pulled-together, and welcoming. Whether I’m topping off tea or serving dessert on the porch, it makes me feel elegant and ready to host.

Where to Hang It

An apron this lovely deserves a special spot. Here are a few ideas:

  • On a vintage hook near the pantry
  • Hung on a peg rail with a basket and cutting boards
  • Hung behind the pantry door for easy grabbing
  • On a charming wall hook near your prep area
  • I have mine draped over the corner of my pantry/food prep area for quick access

Just like everything in the Country Garden Collection, this apron blends beauty and purpose. It turns everyday routines—like cooking or hosting—into cherished moments. P.S. It also comes in a beige color as well.

Coasters & Mugs: Quiet Moments, Beautiful Details

There’s something special about those slow, quiet moments in a day—when you finally get to sip your coffee or tea and just breathe. That’s why I included coordinating mugs and coasters in the Country Garden Collection—because even a simple cup deserves to feel special.

Cozy Morning Devotionals

I love starting the day with a warm mug in hand when I sit down to do my morning bible reading. Our mugs are designed to match the rest of the collection, and they look just as lovely displayed on open shelving or hung from hooks as they do in your hand.

The coasters protect your surfaces from drips, water rings, and heat—whether you’re enjoying your morning coffee at the table or a quiet afternoon tea break by the window.

In the Sunroom or Garden Shed

Take your coffee to the sunroom or your she shed and place it on a coordinating coaster on your potting table or desk. It’s a little thing, but it brings such comfort to have beauty—even in your workspace.

Hosting Guests with Grace

When friends stop by, serve their drinks in matching mugs with a floral coaster underneath. It instantly adds charm to your hospitality without fuss. Set out a small tray with two mugs, a creamer, and your favorite treat for a simple but beautiful display.

Styling Tip: Where to Keep Them

  • Stack your coasters on the coffee table or in the dining area
  • Display a pair of mugs on a mug stand or hooks from a shelf
  • Set a mug + coaster combo on a tray by the coffee station

From morning routines to meaningful visits with friends, these pieces make it easy to create beauty and intention in even the smallest parts of your day.

In the Bathroom: Small Touches That Add Charm

You wouldn’t believe how much charm a velvety pillow adds when placed on a vintage chair in the bathroom corner! Paired with one of our coordinating soap holders, it gives your bathroom a spa-like feeling—like summer mornings spent sipping tea in the garden.

And yes—canisters belong in the bathroom too! I use them to neatly store:

  • Q-tips and cotton balls
  • Scented bath salts
  • Epsom salt or mini soaps
  • Hair accessories or makeup brushes

They keep your vanity organized and beautiful, while the soft blue and green watercolor design brings a peaceful, calming feel—perfect for unwinding after a long day in the garden or kitchen.
