When you walk through our front door in the fall, the first thing you see is the cozy gallery wall above our piano—a warm, welcoming moment that tells the story of the season. Last year, I styled it using hand-painted pieces, thrifted frames, printable artwork from Etsy, and fall florals. If you’re wondering how to style a fall gallery wall with thrifted finds & printable art, keeping reading and I will show you how.
It’s one of my favorite ways to blend charm and a touch of creativity right where guests first step inside.
This gallery came together with intention. Most of the pieces are printed art downloads from Etsy (I’ll share those links below), paired with vintage-style frames, some I painted myself to give them that old-world charm. Mixed in are fall florals, hand painted pieces, and even a few thrifted finds that add texture, color, and warmth to the whole look.
It’s a space that sets the tone for the season—and one I look forward to restyling each year.
This space sits just above our vintage upright piano and creates the perfect little autumn moment as you walk in. A soft fall floral arrangement and a warm-toned jug anchor the look, while each piece on the wall and piano tells its own story:
Printable Art – I chose warm, autumn-inspired prints—think pumpkins, fall landscapes, and soft seasonal tones. Simple, affordable, and full of charm.
Thrifted Frames – A few of these frames were saved from the trash (yes, really!). I love giving cast-off pieces new life in our home.
Hand-Painted Keepsakes – Those little oval paintings of baby geese? I made them years ago for my Grandpa. Now that he’s passed, I treasure them even more. They’re a sweet, sentimental addition to this fall display.
Fall Florals – Faux leaves, berries, and soft stems bring in texture and that cozy, collected feel.
Vintage Accents – A small stack of old books, a thrifted oil-style lamp, and a ceramic swan planter round out the styling with just the right touch of nostalgia.
It’s more than just a gallery wall—it’s a gathered collection of memories, handmade touches, and secondhand finds that come together to tell a story. And best of all, nearly everything was printable, thrifted, or created with heart.
If you’re wondering how I printed everything—here’s a little peek behind the scenes. The largest piece in the gallery was printed at Staples on a sheet of foam core (so easy and lightweight for hanging!). The rest, I printed at home using my Canon Pro 100 on fine art photo rag paper—it prints up to 13×19″ and gives a beautiful soft finish.
If you don’t have a large printer at home, you can absolutely send your files to Staples, London Drugs, or a local print shop and ask for fine art or matte paper. The quality makes all the difference for that vintage-inspired look!
These are the digital prints I used or love for fall:

How to Create a Fall Gallery Wall at Home:
Start with 2–3 art prints you love – mix horizontal and vertical
Choose frames with different textures – paint old ones to coordinate
Add dimension with florals, leaves, or stems displayed in old jugs or vases
Use Command strips or picture ledges if you don’t want to commit to nails
Layer smaller thrifted objects—book stacks, oil lantern, wooden geese for example
It doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to feel like you.
Want to add more handmade charm? These projects pair beautifully with fall decor:
Each one brings just a little more heart into the room.
I think what I love most about this wall is that it reflects the heart of my home—thrifted, handmade, and meaningful. You don’t need a lot to create a cozy display like this: just a few lovely prints, a few thrifted pieces, and some autumn leaves tucked in to bring it all together.
I hope this gives you some ideas for styling your own gallery wall this season. Whether it’s above a piano, in a hallway, or over your entryway table—there’s always room for beauty and intention.
With grace,
Kimberly
