Hey there, crafty friends! Summer will be here soon, and nothing says “summertime” quite like fresh strawberries. If you’re looking to add a little fruity flair to your crafts, the April Strawberries Club Couture Silk Screen Transfer is just the ticket! It’s super easy to use and perfect for personalizing just about anything. Join me as I share some projects with this month’s Club Transfer.
I chose to make these in the colours I am decorating with this summer: blue and white. I don’t decorate with red, and sure, I could have done peach or a really soft pink, but I thought I would embrace the blue and white theme this year with white strawberries! A touch of soft yellow would be really sweet as well.
I have a short video below that will share the step-by-step process for making drop cloth strawberries, a cute Dollar Tree birdhouse and a transformed ceramic berry basket I found at Superstore. I have seen similar ones at Michaels. With simple florals, greenery, and a Dollarama basket, you can make a beautiful arrangement with the Club surface and transfer.
I made all of these while I was away from home, so I can’t show you how I have styled them in my home yet, but I will share how I style for photos while away. I could have pulled out my lighting and backdrop, which I brought with me, but I thought I would change it up and go outside. My mom has the cutest potting table, so I staged it with a butcher block and arranged my pieces in beautiful natural light (in filtered shade). The photographer in me is pretty picky where and how I take my photos. 🙂
Adding spanish moss and some excelsior with a bit of greenery adds some great texture in interest when displaying your crafts.
You can create custom pieces that fit your decor style with simple supplies and easy steps. The April Strawberries Club Couture Silk Screen Transfer can be used in so many ways. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Happy crafting!
