I’m excited to share my Elegant Farmhouse Christmas Kitchen with Blue, White & Gold Accents — a look back at how I styled our kitchen last year before I begin decorating for this season. The mix of navy, soft blue, white, and gold gave the space an elegant sparkle while still feeling warm and homey. Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be sharing more of my 2024 Christmas decor, including the living room and dining room, before I start decorating for this year at the end of the month.
Last year’s kitchen decor centred around a theme I’ve loved for years — Christmas trees. From handmade to glass to glittered, each one added texture and sparkle to the space. Above the cabinets, a handmade Christmas Tree Farm sign set the tone for the entire kitchen, filling the vaulted ceiling wall with cozy holiday charm.
I tucked in my DIY textured trees, a few shimmered glass trees, and a favourite sleigh that I started years ago. It’s not quite finished — but I plan to finish this year — but even in progress, it adds that farmhouse-elegant touch I love.
The colour palette of navy, blue, white, and gold carried through every detail, blending pieces from my Noel, Let It Snow, Winterberry, Hope Has Come, and Forest Collections. The layers of blues and golds bring a calm, cozy feel to the kitchen, while a touch of shimmer adds that holiday glow I love.
From tea towels and trivets to tissue holders and a few of my favourite canisters, every piece came together to create that timeless, farmhouse-chic look. The touches of gold added a hint of elegance, while the layers of blue and white tied it all back to my cottage-inspired palette.
What I love most about this space is the mix of handmade and collected pieces. My DIY textured trees, the painted sleigh, and the hand-lettered sign bring a personal touch that makes the kitchen feel lived-in and loved. Pairing them with elegant glass trees, glimmering accents, and cozy textiles keeps it from feeling too formal — it’s a perfect blend of farmhouse warmth and refined style.
As I prepare to decorate for Christmas 2025, I love looking back at this space and remembering how these pieces came together. I’ll be carrying some of these favourites forward into this year’s design — maybe with a few new ideas and a little extra sparkle.
This is the first in my two-week Christmas home series. I’ll be sharing my 2024 living room and dining room decor next. Each space carries the same elegant farmhouse look, with soft blue and gold accents, handmade trees, and cozy layers of winter greenery.
