- Wood stain – Saman Dark Oak Stain
- Candle – for waxing
- Baby Wipes & Paper Towel
- Sealer – for a finished look – Rustoleum matte is nice
- Wood glue – Titebond
- Paint – Fusion Milk Paint – Sturbridge White
- Clamps
- Rusty Wire & Wire Cutters
- Wax – Behr Clear & Dark
