Create a Charming Chalk Couture Goose Tag for Your Kitchen
Are you looking to add a personal touch to your kitchen decor? Let’s make a Chalk Couture Goose Tag is a fantastic way to bring charm and character to your space! This DIY project is not only fun but also a great way to customize your home decor.
What You’ll Need:
Before you dive into crafting, gather your materials. Here’s a list of what you’ll need:
Optional Decorations: Ribbons, twine, or other embellishments for added flair.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Choose Your Design: Select your Chalk Couture Goose transfer design or anyother design from the Egg Hunt Minis transfer.
Prep Your Surface: Wax your paper with clear wax to protect transfer from tearing paper. I also choose to darken my paper with antiquing wax.
Fuzz Your Transfer: This will help protect to transfer from stretching and pulling it up, as well as it also helps to protect your paper.
Position the Transfer: Peel the transfer off the backing and place it onto the tag. Make sure to press down firmly to ensure all wrinkles and air bubbles are gone.
Apply the Chalk Paste: Using your squeegee and brushes and apply the chalk paste over the transfer. Make sure to cover the design evenly, and peel it up to release the chalk paste as i explain in the video.
Remove the Transfer: Once you’ve applied the chalk paste, gently peel the transfer away from the tag while it’s still wet. This will reveal your beautiful design! Wash your transfer so you can reuse many times.
Let It Dry: Allow your Goose Tag to dry completely. This typically takes about 2-3 minutes.
Wax: Add more antiquing wax around the edges, and you can put more clear wax over top of your design for protection..
Add Decorative Elements: Get creative! Attach ribbons, twine, or any other embellishments to give your Goose Tag a unique touch.

Styling Your Goose Tag
Once your Goose Tag is complete, find the perfect spot in your kitchen. I added a cute blue velvet ribbon to mine and tied it around a flower pot.
